Welcome to the official WINGS blog! We are Women In God's Service at Scotts Hill Baptist Church and we are excited about our newly restructured Women's Ministry. On Saturday, September 12, 2009, we had our official kick-off event in the Cross Point Center and saw over 200 ladies attend! Praise the Lord!
We had a fun day lined up with
- lots of creatively decorated booths set up to inform our ladies of the different ministry opportunities within the Women's Ministry
- entertainment and lots of laughs
- an awesome praise & worship time
- delicious food prepared by our very own Taste & See Committee
- door prizes -- no ladies event would be complete without goodies to give away!
Everyone enjoyed themselves and lots of us were able to meet and connect with other ladies within the church. Many took advantage of the opportunity to get plugged in to one or more of the ministry areas within the Women's Ministry at SHBC.

As you can see, there are lots of ministry areas in which you can get plugged in and meet new friends, all while serving our Lord! How perfect. :)
